Lisa Eng, DO

Received her medical degree from the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a 1 year rotating internship and 4 year obgyn residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology and founded New Life Ob/Gyn in 1995. She is President of the Association of Chinese American Physicians (www.acaponline.org); on the Board of Directors of Homecrest Community Services (www.homecrest.org) which provides care to Chinese seniors in Gravesend/Bensonhurst; President of
Medifit NY; Founder/CEO of Doctors First Association; President Elect of Medical Society of County of Kings; Past president of the Brooklyn Gynecological society, Vice President of the Medical Society of Bay Ridge (www.BayRidgems.com), member of the Medical Club of Brooklyn and is on the Board of Directors of NY State Osteopathic Medical Society (www.NYSOMS.org). She was the Educational Coordinator for the Ob/Gyn residency at Lutheran Medical Center for over ten years and is presently the Vice President of the Executive Committee of Lutheran Medical Center. She has received the Community Service Award from NYCOM, ACOG, ACAP, Manhattan Boro President Stringer, China Aids Fund, Philippine Chinese American Medical Association; is proud of being one of Kings County District Attorney Hynes Extraordinary Women. She is especially committed to Cultural Competency and serves on MSSNY’s committee to Eliminate Healthcare Disparitiess, and was Chair of the Task force for Cultural competency for NY ACOG.
